I wished to get together every sewing lovers living around me for such a long time. Now, here we go !
For this first "Mom Sew Out" that will take place at MLPF Studio on Thursday 16th (7:30-9:30pm), we will make a pretty case for make-up, pencils or whatever. Very easy, just bring 2 small rectangles of fabrics (22 cm/35cm). You can also bring 40 cm of assorted piping or pompons and 20 cm of bias if you have but I can give you some. And don't worry, buttons, clear plastic and fusible interfacing will be provided as well as drinks and snacks :)
If you feel like to make exactly one of these 3 examples, no problem, just let me know in advance so as I can save and prepare these supplies for you (additional fees of $10). On these models below I used linen fabric for the outside and cotton voile for the lining but feel free to use regular cotton for both sides !
This workshop is a good opportunity to acquire very useful skills to embellish every kinds of sewing projects with piping, bias or other notions making the difference. You will be happy to use this handmade case for yourself as well as to make a present. Quickly made in less than 2 hours, this class includes of course the time to take some sips and chat ;)
